Navajo Nation Assisted Living Facility

Job Summary:
This project entailed building an assisted living facility on the
Navajo Reservation. Due to the poor soils on the project location,
over excavation and back fill was required for this project. Additionally,
due to the drought, lagoon water had to be procured and
used on the project. This project was delayed by the owner for
approximately 10 months due to disputes with the local utility
company. Due to our close relationship with our major subcontractors,
we were able to return and complete the project at no
additional cost to the owner in spite of this delay. |

Zuni Head Start Facility
Owner: Pueblo of Zuni
Contract: $2,676,540.00
Square Foot: 14,000
Location: Zuni, NM
Job Summary:
This project included the construction of three buildings
with commercial kitchen, parking and drive, and associated
utilities. The project was located in a flood plain and required
over excavation and build up of the pad areas. Additionally,
due to the location and the non-availability of utilities,
this entire project was built utilizing generators and
trucked water. In spite of these restrictions, the project was
successfully completed under budget and on time. |

NHA Leupp 20 Homes
Owner: Navajo Housing Authority
Contract: $3,947,166.00
Square Footage: 31,516
Location: Leupp, Arizona
Job Summary:
This project consisted of the construction of 20 single family
homes, including a complete subdivision infrastructure.
Whiteriver Construction completed approximately
one mile of streets, sidewalks and concrete curbs. The 8"
sewer main and 6" water main were extended to each of
the new homes.
Two, three and four bedroom individual homes were constructed
featuring metal roofs and attached carports |

Kayenta Staff Housing

Job Summary:
This project involved the construction of twelve new residential
town homes with four 4-bedroom and eight 3-
bedroom units. This project involved full site development,
including utilities, streets, curbs, gutters, sidewalks
and patios. |

Havasupai Teacher Housing
Owner: BIA - Western Regional Division
Contract: $917,892.00
Square Foot: 3,106
Location: Havasupai, Arizona
Job Summary:
This project was constructed in one of the most remote locations in America. This project included the construction of a complete Teacher Housing Complex at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. The location dictated that all material, equipment, and personnel be airlifted by helicopter to the job location. This project demonstrates that we have the ability to work in an extremely remote location, precisely plan all job movements and activities, and manage a successful project in a nontypical environment. |
